Does your signature on electronic signature keypads look pretty much like your signature on paper?

it looks horrid..I'm left handed and the cord gets in the way, plus I have to manuever myself just to sign it and it looks like a drunk signed it

Yep, looks shitty on both mediums

09/09/12 10:37 am

Why wouldn't it? Can you dummies EVER take responsibilty?

Nope. I'm a lefty and the damn cord always gets in the way.

I like how they put "ok" or "accept". Really? I'd be trying all day if it was acceptable or okay.

At least the one I use. They have tablet pc work requisition units that they take to the vehicle.

Toyota has the best electronic signature pad. It comes out pretty close to the real thing.

09/07/12 1:15 pm

No, my signature sucks on an electronic pad.

I said yes, they're the same because theyre totally illegible either way

I just write a giant X or draw a $ sign whenever I use the electronic signature pad

This is a trick question bc nobody's signature looks good or even decent on the electronic pads. Signatures get so distorted on those things, I don't see why people should even have to sign them.

09/07/12 5:56 am

Those things are so horribly inaccurate I usually just scribble a line.

09/07/12 5:20 am

I've never used one. Are they similar to touch devices? If so, I'd say yes.

09/07/12 4:40 am

I'm a quickie signer so yes it looks very similar to my scrawl. I work in retail and have noticed the over 65 crowd are very concerned with how pretty their signatures are. I guess it was a big deal back then. <shrug>

09/07/12 1:00 am

My signature always turned out bad, so I came up with a new one for electronic pads.

There's never enough room on the pin pad!!! :(

09/06/12 11:02 pm

I make sure the first letter is there the rest is made up lol

09/06/12 10:56 pm

No, those things have ruined my signature.

Haha god no. Electronic signatures are useless most of the time make a straight line. Except at bestbuy where that doesn't work there you actually have to attempt to make a legit sign

It's a scribble that begin with something that resembles a J. Sad thing is, it's probable the same scribble every time so I guess it's kind of my signature now.

09/06/12 9:50 pm

Easy sign works great. Developed by a Apple founder.

Yup - they both look like what an inked up drunk chicken leaves behind after dancing the Macarena.

Pretty much the same, unless their machine is screwy.

09/06/12 9:23 pm

I make sure the first letters in my name are decipherable.. the rest is squiggles.

I just scribble on those, I don't sign like I usually do

Super awkward & they usually design them to be anti-lefty :(

09/06/12 8:53 pm

Not even close. It's hard to make it the same on those awkwardly placed signature pads.

09/06/12 8:48 pm

Yeah, it looks like shit.

My fine motor movements, such as writing, are lacking.

09/06/12 8:48 pm

Those things are so clunky, they give you no space, and the stylus tip is so fat that I just squiggle.

Doopy Remedial Americanism

More straight lines and unintentional cropping, but you can tell it's mine.

No, but if someone has square, my finger is pretty good.

09/06/12 8:06 pm

Is usually just doodle on the electronic ones

Sam95 Nebraska
09/06/12 7:54 pm

My signature is really bad either way.

Zod Above Pugetropolis
09/06/12 7:44 pm

It probably would be close if the pad was in a more comfortable or accessible position. My signature with pen on paper wouldn't be any better if I was forced to contort similarly when signing it.

They don't design those pads right. They always have the keypad In the way. Why not put the keypad above the touchpad?

09/06/12 7:40 pm

Both look like scribbles.
