42% favored banning marriage between two consenting, related adults due to potential genetic defect of potential offspring but only 2% favored banning marriage between two consenting adults with cystic fibrosis for the same reason. Double standard?

What's your stance on public sex? This is important because I'm probably a swing voter.

'S cool. Not within 500' of a school (gotta protect the kiddies, or something) or within 50' of the entrance of a business that has banned sex on its premises. Also, don't have sex on your neighbors property cuz they might shoot you.

I think people are more concerned about the sex, which they find revolting because the two people are related. Truth is, we're all cousins of each other in some sense and it's silly to prevent people from getting married for these reasons.

Answer: yes.

You can be against it due to lack of cultural acceptance, social taboo, or personal disgust, but don't say you're against if for the well-being of the child(ren) they aren't even guaranteed to have, if you said "no" the first question

and "yes" the second. Your reason is then personal disgust and your opinion on the subject is guided by moral approval, not biology or genetics. You are entitled to this opinion, sure. Just don't say you are opposed for any other reason but that.
