According to seculars, 2014 might be the best year yet: less poverty, starvation, etc. But according to my Christian peers, it keeps getting worse: less people converting to Christianity, and they're further than ever from mainstream. Which is it?

Non Christians sure are obsessed with making polls about Christians. If you don't believe, it's ok, just don't believe. Nobody cares. And let others live with the right to their choice to believe. Why do you care?

So it comes down to results or who gets credit?

Christians shouldn't care about the kudos. Or did we skip the part about Vanity being one of the 7 Deadly Sins?

Worst. But for those that really get it, that's a good sign.

Any real Christian would be happy about the less poverty, less starvation bit. Considering Jesus spends like ninety percent of his time telling you various reasons you should help others.

Less poverty AND less religion? That's easily an improvement!

the best. Way better than, say, when infant mortality rates were high and millions of people weren't allowed to vote. Not sure if it will continually get better but it seems with the technological advances, the human condition in general has improved

So far this winter has been brutal. That's my not so scientific assessment of 2014 to date.
