Would it bother you if USA doesn't win another medal this Olympics?

Yes, it should bother every American. The Olympics is a place where we can show our pride and superiority. Sadly the norm is Americans do not care we just want handouts and subsidies. Hard work or recognition of hard work doesn't interest us.

Nah. I just like some of the events, regardless of whose in it. The ski slalom is fun to watch as is the ski jumping. The Shaun white stuff belongs on MTV.

I haven't been watching, but when I've paid attention in the past, it's not the country that wins the medal, in my view, but the athlete(s). I don't care how many medals *any* country's athletes accumulate.

Susan, if you're interested at all, there's a good NBC app that you can watch some of the events. It's NBC Live Extra. Not bad.

I thought about doing that, but I have enough trouble getting myself to sit down & focus on streaming tv programs that I like & intend to watch... for some reason.

But I may give it a try, and thanks!

Not winning an Olympic medal should be the least of this countries concerns.

Not really. We've never won an Olympic medal of any kind in biathlon anyway, and don't look all that great in curling. For me the country, USA or some other, doesn't really matter anyway. It's all about the winning competitor's performance.
