At the rate they are fading, there won't be much left to sell in another forty years or so. The ones that are left become even more precious with time, so no. Besides, what would I do with more money if I forgot what
I wanted to spend it on?

I don't understand how anyone buys anything in that economic system....or doesn't lie through their teeth. My shoe just suddenly became the most precious memory I've every cherished.

I think we have to assume a perfect system for this hypothetical, impossible exchange.

Assume the buyer knows how important the memory is to you.
