N. Ireland has a new tax on plastic bags of 5p per bag with a raise to 10p (.08 and .15) scheduled for next year. In S. Ireland the govt has stolen 1.7M (256M) this way and plastic bag usage has fallen 90. Good idea or just more robbery?
