Bible Study! Genesis chapters 5 & 6.
I apologize that I couldn't lead the study last night. Something came up at the last minute.
I love genesis it's one of my favorite books in the bible. It's been awhile since I've read genesis I've been on the new testament all this month I'm thinking about going back to the old this week.
Nice, what NT books are you reading?
The book of James.
Excellent book. I'm a fan of Galatians, Ephesians, the Gospel of Luke, and acts.
Those are my favorites also I'm going to start back in the OT tonight
I need to start reading the OT. I'm mostly through the new testament.
Lol it's all good your doing Gods work by reading the bible.
I really should, I need to get back to reading the Bible consistently. I'm always happier when I do, not sure why I don't
Hey, something we agree on :)
so how did the ark fit all of the animals and people?
Ken Ham of the Institute for Creation Research has books and DVDs on this subject. Go to www.icr.org (I'm pretty sure about that link).
No, that didn't work. Try www.answersingenesis.org .
Yes, that's it.
How did 8 people build a better boat than the best wooden ship builders the world has seen since?
Regarding the flood: where did the water come from? Where did it go? How didn't every marine animal go extinct because of the change in pH levels, salinity, etc?
Amazing, isn't it Skarface? God told Noah to build the ark. God preserved him, his family, and the animals. Two things could have happened: the ark was built poorly (being the first boat in history), but God supernaturally strengthened it, or
The ark was well built because God led him.
Skarface, asking questions is a good step to understanding. Honestly, I don't know much about the ph and salinity levels, however, to answer your first question in that post, God sent rain. It was the first rain that God had ever sent to the earth.
It rained for forty days and forty nights.
