Would you describe your or your family as living paycheck to paycheck?
We've got some saved money in the stock market and bank account that we haven't really touched in a decade, and we kinda live paycheck to paycheck now
I've never really had a job that paid regularly; so often, yes, I'm stretching savings until the next bit trickles in.
Thankfully, I do not, and didn't grow up that way.
Yes with my mom, no with my dad.
There's no paycheck at all, so.... no, I guess. But when I was working, except at my poorest, I almost always had enough in savings to hold me for a while in an emergency, and to draw on for current expenses.
I started saving the day I got my first part time job at 16. I STILL have cash in that account. For me it was all about learning early on you don't spend money on things you can't afford, or waste it on things you don't truly need.
I am and it is horrid, but we are lucky in one aspect, my husband works for my uncle so if there is an emergency we can get a draw from the company.
I am, yes. Would be nice to have some savings someday.
I agree. A savings account (you know with actual savings in it) is like this fancy far off dream lol
Yeah, I'm working on that...
we are right now. we went from three checks down to 2 and one of the 2 is not very steady. but we are managing to squirrel some back
luckily no my family isn't.
