With 6 likes, Dubbyaa is elected whip.
Thank you fellow libertarians for electing me party whip. I will do my best to ensure that the party is heard, and acknowledged. With your cooperation, we can get this country back to the way it was meant to be. Again, thank you all.
I gladly support Dubbyaa to be the Whip of our party and am glad to see him in the lead.
Thank you for your support Afly.
That can make for slow decisions and gridlock...
Not usually, I am prepared to make a decision without consulting the party, but it never has to happen given that I contact three members at least four times a week, and I know that I can get ahold of one of them at any given time of legislation.
I understand that you have connections. I understand that your pro well with people, but are u sure that you would be the best to represent the libertarian party with our leader in congress?
I'm not only sure, I'm positive.
Not just because of my views, but because I don't make a single move without contacting my libertarian counter parts first.
I totally agree that we are not following the Constitution as we should be. What I want to know is your ideas. You state u have them, but fail to post them. I will post mine right now... A good way to get the message across is to express through...
...facts that the Libertarian Party is the party of common sense and the Constitution. We need to establish a platform to highlight these amazing facts about how we are different from your regular parties.
We need to work with other VC members to establish a Libertarian Coalition on Congress. Not just party members, but independents and republican and democrats. All who work for libertarian ideals. We need to compromise, but also hold firm on some...
...very important principles.
I work well with other parties and have contacts throughout each that have libertarian ideas. I have contacted these people on several different occasions, when I want a libertarian bill passed, that's who I go to.
I have a thought: Dubbya, do u have a vision for the party? Do you have ideas? I am also slightly concerned over my party whip being named Dubbya when a president I hate had that nickname
I have a vision for the party to get our ideas across to the good people of America. It's more of a vision for the country. A vision that one day we will have this country back to the greatness that it once was. We're not following the constitution
As we should. That is the most prized document in the world in my eyes. That is how we are supposed to run our country. We are not supposed to infringe upon rights of our citizens, that is not our job. Our job is to keep this good country safe from
Foreign lands, establish credit for the United States, to regulate commerce with foreign nations, to lay and collect taxes, to establish a uniform rule of naturalization, to coin money and regulate the value of, to establish post offices, and roads
To promote the progress of science and fine arts, to define and punish piracies and felonies committed on high seas, and offended against the laws of nations, to constitute the tribunals inferior to the Supreme Court, to declare war, grant letters of
Marque and reprisal, and make rules concerning captures on land and water, to raise and support armies, to provide and maintain a navy, to make laws for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces, to provide organizing, disciplining
And arming of militias, to excersise exclusive legislation in all cases, and finally to make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers. That is what the CONGRESS should have power over, nothing
Else. I foresee the day in which it is limited to those powers and those powers only. That is my vision for this great country. As for the name, that is all it is, a name. This should be of no concern, I did not support him, this was just a suggested
Those are my ideas, that we will get back down to the very basis of what we were meant to be, I apologize for not pasting them sooner.
I am not denying the fact that Dubbya is a fine man and a good member, but I would like to run for Party Whip. I am very active and I have a Skype account in which I am also active. I work well with others, but I am not afraid to take a stand...
On important issues and problems. I am a man with a vision who intends to see the Libertarian Party to the very end. I am more than just activity and working well with others. I have principles and a vision. I am newer to the VC, but being new is...
...a good thing. Being an outsider is a key fact. My Skype name is deppfan63. Feel free to chat
I would like to run for libertarian party whip. I work very well with everybody. I have made many contacts throughout the VC. I am extremely involved in it. For those of you who don't know me, I'm formerly AlexJ76. I have been a member of the VC for
About four months and have came to enjoy it very much. I would be interested in answering any questions anyone has for me. If there are any, please feel free to contact me on skype @live:nickelback_57 !
I second that.
You're not running Liberty? I thought you might.
I've already done it. I think it's nice to see the positions change since it's a simulation.
BillyJoe seems to be a very good candidate for the position, who seems to have an idea of what he wants to do, though I also have a vision for, not only the libertarian party, but also the United States. I have a vision for freedom. A vision for
Liberty, a vision for a greater America, a vision for the country we so proudly imagined in the days of George Washington and all of his brothers. I foresee a government where we not only have economic freedom, but also social freedom, religious
Freedom. The government shouldn't tell you what to do with your money, I will fight my hardest to make sure they don't. They shouldn't be able to tell you who you can sleep with and who you can marry, I will fight my hardest to make sure they don't.
If you want to believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster, you have that right. The government has no right to interfere with any of that. Those are individual rights. I believe in a strict interpretation of the U.S. Constitution. That is what we should
Base everything off of in the government. I do not believe that was the foundation of our government, I believe that IS our government, that is how it is supposed to work. That's how our forefathers wanted it to be. I will make sure that everyone
Knows our stance on every single issue at hand.i am very vocal and I can make very good and reasonable comprises, that is as long as you guys support those compromises. I'm sorry for the big long speech, but I want this position, and I know I can do
It, with your help of course.
JackVTM has resigned to take the Budget Director position, so we're looking for a new Libertarian Party Whip. You just need a Skype and the ability to work pretty well with others. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
I would but 1. I'm not involved enough and 2. I don't work well with others.
I would but 1. I'm not involved enough. 2. I don't have a skype.
