Someone says "if people evolved from apes than why are there still apes". To you would they be completely discredited in any conversation about evolution.
You could respond with "if god created man from dirt, why is there still dirt" followed by "See how ridiculous that sounded"
If someone with an open mind, asks that question, I do not automatically dismiss them. It's more about their interest and attitude than their words.
If dogs evolved from wolves, why are there still wolves. I cannot understand why folks can't have both G_d and evolution. They are not mutually exclusive. To think so undermines nature and devalues G_d thinking we understand His workings.
No one can demonstrate that a god even exists much less that that idea is even reasonable.
No one can demonstrate that atomic particles actually exist we only see the results. Quanta change just by our interaction with them. There are thousands of situations where prayer solved issues when all hope was lost, so I don't get your statement
Completely discredited. It shows they don't know the basic premise and lack the intellectual curiosity to find out what it is.
Yes, I mean feel free to disagree with the theory, but you should atleast try to understand evolution before you say it's wrong.
Not if they're willing to hear the answer to that question.
That's my reasoning.. Why wouldn't there still be apes turning into humans? Evolution just happened once and then it stopped? We didn't come from apes..
Evolution is more like a tree. Humans and apes are two different branches on a limb.
Ignore that, I'm stupid today.
For one apes didn't evolve into humans, Darwin believed both species came from a common ancestor.
Humans ARE apes, people these days...
