Which parent is MORE irresponsible? A parent who buys beer for their teen and friends (assume THEIR parents know) and lets them drink in a controlled environment OR the parent who ignores adolescent human behavior and let's them do whatever.

Parent B. My mom and her whole side of the family is like A. They are 100% ok with letting the teens drink when we get together for a birthday or football game or something. Every time I go home, my mom will buy me any kind of alcohol if I pay. Im 18

Neither parent is responsible.

This question is like asking which pile of poop is more poopy, the one the dog left or the one the cat left. They are both poop.

That said, living in one of the states with some of the strictest liquor laws, the law is the problem.

I think parent A is at least trying to keep their child safe. Parent B doesn't even care.

That depends, how old are the kids? My mom bought me booze when I was in college and I see nothing wrong with that

Parent B is unaware, whereas Person A is promoting a very unhealthy lifestyle.

Based on the wording of the question, I don't think Parent B is unaware, I think Parent B knows and chooses to ignore.

The age 21 Drinking Law in the US is one of the top 3 biggest jokes of laws. The ACA is in the top 3 as well.

I am good with the 21 law, but I am also good with college kids drinking.

Part of the fun in college is sneaking it since you are not suppose to

I prefer parent C who makes sure their kid isn't drinking at all.

That parent doesn't exist.

what happened to my parents???

Parent B thinks their kid won't drink "because they raised them better" blah blah blah

I'm not sure I understand parent B well enough. Is that parent forbidding them from drinking or just practicing apathy towards them?
