Are you excited about your tax refund this year?
If you are getting a refund you are not managing your taxation effectively. A refund means you have given the gov a 0% interest loan and that money was not working for you in any way.
While this is true, if I got that money in my paycheck over the year it likely would have gone to groceries rather than debt (which is where most of the refund will go) so while it's not the most effective method, it could be worse.
I dont know whst to expect. We still dudnt get bank statements. We usually get back but i think it will be less this year
What tax refund?
I usually end paying a few $$
How is weather by you? Are you near Wayne?
I owe them $700, since my employer apparently miscalculated withholdings...
Sort of...I need the money, but I HATE that the government has had our money to use for this long without paying us any interest.
I usually get a decent-sized refund, considering I don't own a home. Maybe I'll out it towards a vacation. :)
I haven't done the taxes yet, but I expect to be writing a check. So no, not all that excited.
We owe $48. :) We always try to get it to come out even, or owe a little. The government doesn't need a tax free loan from me.
I wish we could do that, but we haven't managed it with Dad's Social Security.
So they owe you?
Every year...it's crazy.
Maybe it's because we clean out closets & make donations every year, but it's mostly just from standard deductions.
I find myself checking multiple times throughout the day on the IRS website, where's my refund! It's my money and I want it now!
