Ashamed much more last few years at how ultra violent we've become. And how unintelligent and anti intellectual our society has become.

Rampant abortion; while millions would rather venerate a football game, than attend Mass. Our government openly backs and (allegedly) funds/arms Islamist terror movements in Libya, Egypt, and now Syria; where they bomb and mutilate Christians.

Meanwhile, our president would rather attend the funeral of an unrepentant communist terrorist... while snubbing both a deceased prime minister (possibly the greatest) from our strongest ally; and a legendary war hero, renowned for his marksmanship.

In a sense, I am more ashamed than proud of what this country has become. I'm not anti-American; but I see the wickedness that runs deep within shallow, materialistic hearts of the electorate. In a democracy, we get the government we deserve, no?

This isn't even to mention NDAA, SOPA, the IRS auditing scandal, Benghazi (although I touched on that), Fast & Furious, Obamacare, and the PRISM program run by Obama's NSA.

sometimes, most of the time not really. if you do have this attitude though and go to another country and realize how much everyone hates us/thinks were idiots, it puts a huge pin in that balloon of enthusiasm

I dont find that. I have been to many foreign countries. I went to Egypt and was in a Bazaar when this man who I had just bartered with showed me how many American dollars he had. He was so proud and happy it was really great. He even had a phony
