If you were tasked with giving away $10 million to a non-profit organization, which organization would you choose and why?
The Former Majority for Equality and Wounded Warrior.
Ronald McDonald House - my niece lived there for nearly a year and a half while undergoing cancer treatment. They only ask for $25/day for what amounts to a nice hotel room with access to a large shared kitchen, laundry and recreation areas, but that
is $760/mo in addition to maintaining the family home wherever 'home' is. Basically people end up paying whatever they can afford. It is an amazing facility, and I met a lot of very thankful, very blessed people during the week I stayed there.
my family volunteers there every thanksgiving and some in between as well
The wounded warrior project.
3 way split between the USO, wounded warrior, and disabled veterans of America. Maybe 5 way and include the VFW and American Legion. I already donate $100 out of every (bi-weekly) paycheck to the USO.
Wounded warrior project. They help those heroes who have given so much to this country.
Hands and feet ministries. Handsfeet.org
Serving the orphaned and ill in Guatemala and Liberia.
National Right To Life Committee. Save the babies.
My local girls and boys club
St. Jude Children's Hospital.
I would give it to choice books because they get good Christian book out in the market place
DaySpring Villa Women & Children's Shelter. I used to work there it's a great place. They help victims of domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault, and sexual human trafficking.
Split between American Cancer Society and World Federation of Hemophilia. If the latter, it would be specifically earmarked for diagnosis and treatment in third-world countries.
Some animal rescue charity
They'd be glad to take it :-)
The question asked "which NON-profit"
Thank you,but accept my comment, don't need your advise
What can be more non profit, than our government
For me, it would be RZIM (Ravi Zacharias International Ministries).
Same here. Might split it between them and Disabled American Veterans.
Thanks! love what Disabled American's does as well. Either would be great!
