Assume for a minute that you use Facebook. Your friend's pet has created a page (with help, presumably) and has sent you a "friend request." Do you accept or reject (or ignore) the request?

Accept. No big deal. I wouldn't request them, but I have no qualms adding them. My friend's cousins' cat is my Facebook friend.

I'd ignore that shit, then delete my friend for even sending me that nonsense

I don't use face book but when I did I though the pages set up for pets and kids were stupid ideas but now I get why and I think it's a great idea. People always complain about pictures and posts about friend's kids. Friend them if you wanna see em.

If someone is strange enough to make a profile for their pet, I probably like the pet more than the person anyway.

I don't play silly games. That's why I don't use Facebook in the first place.

Friend it! Haha some of my friends pets have fb accounts. Honestly, I like those accounts much more than some of the humans I'm friends with.

Depends on the pet. Cats and snakes never. Dogs are a maybe.

I have never understood why people like snakes for pets, you can't pet em, they don't give a flip about you, they have salmonella in their scales, and they just sit in their tank all day doing nothing. but yet you have to clean up their tank and keep

live food for them. don't see the appeal

They're actually really fun. You can take them on walks like right after it rains, and they play in the puddles.

I was planning to get my pond fish an Ipad but they're not waterproof yet.

Um why would you get your pond fish an iPad?

iPhones are easier to use with those tiny fins.

That is EXACTLY why I don't use social sites. Sometimes people can be so annoying.

FB is "silly" so wtf not? I say this with the full knowledge that I have an account I haven't used in 2+ years. Only got it so I could do some graphic design work for someone.

I'm "friends" with a couple of my friend's pets. It's silly, but FB is silly too so why not?

They post occasionally so it isn't annoying.

I love my dog, but no. The only exception might be my veteran friend's service dog, if they were fund raising for another veteran or something like that.

Ive seen it - Ive accepted it but in "our" case it was to get more people to play a game when you have run out of people to ask. I am currently friends with Buster who is "one of my neighbors" on Gardens of Time. Buster does not post at all.

That's what I hate about FB. I'll end up adding them even though I really don't want to just so I don't seem mean. My entire newsfeed is filled with stuff I don't care about at all.

MrMilkdud
02/04/14 11:44 am

That's why I just don't look at FB anymore. Or twitter.

You can hide them from your feed.

JennaF sunflower state of mind

Same! I rarely go on FB anymore and recently quit using twitter. Like, am I expected to care how drunk you got last night or what you're having for lunch? It's that constant over-sharing that drives me crazy.

MrMilkdud
02/04/14 11:43 am

So did mine. Maybe we're related.

Yep. A dog. Maybe the dogs know each other? They're probably BFF's and like to PM about which girl dogs have the best smelling pheromones.
