For theist: If someone died by assisted suicide do you believe that they would still go to hell?
I don't believe in hell
I don't believe in hell. I believe in quality of life. If someone's life has declined due to a terminal illness or major injury, then it shouldn't be any different than the kindness we show to our pets. However, it should be the person that does it.
Why does the method by which you die have anything to do with heaven/hell?
The bible says if you commit suicide you will spend eternity in hell. (If this is what you believe in) I was curious if this includes assisted suicide.
Well I guess the suicide makes sense because you're committing a murder and don't have the opportunity to repent it. But I don't think we know for sure until we get there, for anyone.
No, but I also don't believe that those who commit suicide are automatically destined for Hell either.
