Does it annoy you that companies have to put "Do not attempt," "Fantasy," or "Closed course" at the bottom of the screen in their commercials?
I just think it's funny... I mean, it's so blatantly obvious that you shouldn't blow up 7 cars, or whatever. Also, the writing is usually so small, that you have to be looking to see/read it.
It annoys me that anyone thinks they need to do this. It's like circumventing natural selection to the detriment of the herd.
I personally find it comical that they have to...makes you wonder how many people would actually try some if these stunts...
I love reading electrical item's warning labels, they're always so absurd that you know that someone must have done them.
Lawyers and dishonest opportunists.
no. it amuses me. ☺️
My favorite was "Professional Baby." What bullshit. A professional baby? What the hell kind of disclaimer is that? A baby can waterski or whatever because it's a "professional baby?"
Those disclaimers have saved my life on many occasions.
no, only because there are so many idiots out there that do think it's real, so the company has to cover their @$$
I have far worsr things to get annoyed over.
I can't stand bubble heads.
It's skewing the Darwin Awards pool.
That's what happens when scumbag lawyers get involved.
Not at all. Just like it doesn't annoy me that drug commercials mention side effects. It's a legal issue that I can respect. Better than the company getting sued over somebody else's lack of common sense.
They have to. Otherwise some jerk will try it, sue them, and win.
I hate it! If idiots want to try some things they see on commercials, let them. Survival of the fittest and all that.
Lol it will all work it's self out in the end!
It's silly and if they stopped, it might thin the hurd lol
Never really notice it honestly.
"Cars cannot actually drive on trains."
