Rarely without prompting. But there is a morning prayer over the intercom at school, so that much at least enters my thoughts, but mostly so far as I make sure the girls quiet down to listen respectfully.
Depends what you mean by the word "about". I do not trouble my mind with godly or religious thinking too often anymore. However, god is almost always near my thoughts - like "out and about".
There actually aren't many atheists here. Christianity is very common but everybody has a "mind your own business" attitude about most everything here. So you don't catch a lot of the "ram it down your throat" types. It's nice.
Don't let Sarah Palin be your idea of Alaska, please! Most of us here dislike the woman and wish she would mind her own damn business. Alaskans pride themselves on not forcing out beliefs onto others. The state constitution puts a right to privacy
above almost everything else here. Only the vocal idiots like Palin feel the need to force their religious views onto others, and thankfully Alaska doesn't have many of those...
I in no way think you Alaskans are like her. But I've heard from people who have lived up there that Alaska is religious and conservative for the most part, not proselityzers but religious conservatives for the most part.
Religion:
: the belief in a god or in a group of gods
: an organized system of beliefs, ceremonies, and rules used to worship a god or a group of gods
: an interest, a belief, or an activity that is very important to a person or group
