I call my new avatar my sisters a Sappho picture. It is of my dear friend and I. Do you think you can tell by the manner of someone's dress if they are gay or straight?
Something like 90% of people can tell by facial tension whether a man is gay or straight. Clothing is more easily disguised, but if not configured for deception, it's far more obvious.
I can most certainty tell
All I see is a set of green and blue glasses?
Put that up last night for The Seahawks I will change it back.
Not always it depends on the outfit. Sometimes it's impossible to tell, other times it's impossible not to. When I see two men together wearing leather with cut-outs in the rear and one is holding onto the other's collar by a leash, I get the idea.
Yes & no.
No way. Too many variables. Everyone's an individual.
Sometimes you can guess, but just as being heterosexual does not dictate style, neither does being homosexual.
Not just dress. There has to be other factors involved. But my gaydar is pretty good.
Never heard that word before, but I like it.
I grew up with a gay uncle and, in high school, realized I was bi. So it's kind of an every day word for me.
My daughter wears boys jeans, skateboard sneakers, character tees and has short pixie cut hair. She looks more like a teenage boy than a 24 year old young woman. So my answer is no!
Most people, no. However, there are some like my friend Steve, whose Capri pants on our Christian college campus screamed to the community, "Look at me! I'm a trend-setting gay man!"
Not always, but occasionally.
I think it's possible, but not reliable
I don't know if its the way they dress unless its obvious like with certain women who look mannish or men with the scarfs and pink pants. Mostly I get a vibe. Mom your friend looks like a nice friend.
Thank you. We both love flannel shirts. This picture was taken when neither of us have felt good. So our hair wasn't washed so we don't have any makeup on. I had to take a picture and send it to my son.
I love flannel shirts!
Probably not the way they dress but there are other ways to tell
No. It's funny how many "burly" men I know are gay. Most would never suspect they were.
My son is a gay man. He is very masculine. They call them bears.
Had a co-worker who had a "toy" that he and his GF used. After she used it on him after a while (as he told me) he didn't like her, but liked "it" more. He said that's when he realized he was gay. He could lift 300lbs.
