Show of Hands

The DOW neared 16,600 this week. This should indicate a booming economy, but the top 1% wealthiest Americans own 50%, while the bottom 50% own 0.05%. Is the DOW still a valid economic indicator, or does it just show us how the mega-rich are doing?
