46 years young and passed my SCUBA open water test. 20 years later, but still a lifetime dream.

I twerked for 3 hours straight.

Married the woman of my dreams in April, then left for the Middle East 2 weeks later. Got home just in time for the holidays!

I had my first child :)

So 2012 was great because I keep improving. I turned 60 and the horse I started as a yearling (my goal in 2004), I'm now learning to ride dressage. (I wouldn't win a beauty pageant, but he could!)

I became the 2012-13 Kansas cover girl in my pageant! Then went on to nationals in November and became the national cover girl!

I won a national award.

I inspired local elementary, middle, and high school students about science, technology, engineering, and math. I helped start and have been mentoring a new FIRST Tech Challenge team that has middle and high schoolers designing and building robots to play a challenging and highly competitive game.

This is late, but...

I applied for a foreign exchange program for 2013 (fingers crossed)
I met someone who is now the most important person in my life.
I made all A's.
I figured myself out. (Finally) and that's the most important one to me.

Oh! I also became a first time homeowner!!! :)

Took my first cruise in July and my first vacation requiring a passport in December to Spain.

Learned how to play guitar

Graduated High School and started college. Nothing big compared to others.

Moved up twice with the company I work for in 2012!!!

I got married!!

That is amazing! I have a friend who is 20 and is new to sobriety! There's nothing better than watching your best friend finally get her life back. I'm so proud of you!

And my first niece was born! That's pretty exciting to me.

In march, I spent two weeks in Peru and then in August I moved from Oklahoma to Maryland and basically left everything I owned except a carry-on bag and 5 boxes I had shipped. Life is about the adventure!

I used an app called LoseIt! to control calorie intake, and did 5 days a week of progressively more intense Cardio. Started on an elliptical machine, and by Sept I was running outside. I never denied myself anything but everything I ate was accounted for and done in smart proportions.

I set a goal to lose 50 pounds and 7 months later I achieved it!

I recovered from surgery and got into an all-state orchestra.

I survived 12-21-12

Knocked five minutes off my 5k time

I had a son!

Nobody REALLY cares.. Everything's forgotten in time.

Got married, joined a nice church, & got a new job that ill be starting on Mon.

Sharp ups and steep downs. Life is about risk, and fortune favors the bold.

Retired from the military after 20 years and over seven deployments.

My husband and I started a candy store in Brattleboro! So much fun and a big hit :)

I figured out who my friends are, bounced back from some bad stuff, started to reconnect with my family and I finally got the girl I've been chasing since the end of 2011 and I've never been happier.
