I have not been to a movie theater in a long time. Most movies are just garbage. It’s full of cursing, sex, lgbtq garbage or some social justice message which is actually unjust. If they use God’s name in vain even once, I’ll never watch the movie. I’m not wasting my time watching something I’ll hate.

Not at all, it’s a room full of filth and stickiness. Can’t control playback, such as pausing to do something or rewind to review a scene. It’s packed with inconsiderate patrons of various sizes and volume levels. Your wallet gets violated for the simplest snack items.
I’d much rather watch a movie at home with my own comfort and convenience Why muddle up the experience with unappealing criteria?

Not anymore - 30 minutes of previews and commercials is grating. People talking, the glow of phones of people texting, the smacking of popcorn is all too much to endure.
With large Home Screen TV screens with excellent picture quality and sound, makes watching at home ideal.

It’s okay. I really enjoy watching movies more at home. There used to be local theaters that showed many great movies, but that hasn’t been the case for decades. It’s inconvenient and expensive to see a movie in a theater now. At home, we can be comfortable, spend less, and eat snacks that don’t require a second mortgage.

Yes, I love going to the movies. We never finish a movie in 1 sitting at home and I like taking the ride of watching a movie start to finish so I like the “requirement” of doing so at the theater.

Absolutely love it. Love everything about it. We go almost every week (movie club membership). Popcorn, reserved seating, immersion, Mrs Statguy. It’s the best. Sometimes the movies are good, too. π
We have two very nice theater complexes in town, and one that needs an upgrade. Also an art movie theater. Enough variety.

No never saw it, not my type of movie. Let me ask you, - when did you guys on the right become such soy boys. Where you have to go into a corner and cry when there is a Black, a gay, or a woman(with a leading role) in a movie? Here let me give you a tissue so you can cry it out π€§ππππππ

We never ever complained about a “black” or a “gay” or a woman in a movie. Not once. That’s your pathetic projection. Try again.

Every Disney/Marvel/Star Wars movie, Barbie, Bros, Woman King, Terminator 6, Ghostbusters, Moonlight, Hidden Figures, Rings of Power, Velma, Santa Inc, Oceans 8… thankfully the public is tired of the wokeness so they were all huge bombs.π£

Did you realize that was written by Dallas Jenkins, who wrote, and is directing and producing The Chosen. Back when he wrote it, he couldn't get anyone to invest in the movie, and that “failure” is what led to The Chosen, now the highest crowd sourced show ever!

DEI- ok great! Then having a Black or gay person or a woman in a leading role is not woke! Wonderful! I agree π now can you give me an explanation of a few movies that are all woke to you? π€

DEI- let’s try again, I said Sinners has an African American theme, because it actually does have an African American theme. It’s ok to say the truth π
And if Disney is doing so awful with movies they will change their movie style. It’s called the free market
