Would moving to Canada solve your government-related stress problems?
I would but not want to be part of the British Commonwealth.
There's no way to answer this if one doesn't *have* government-related stress problems.
Well, that's good! I worry about our country's future but I try not to let it get to me.
I think I've just lived through too many "crises" (including an assassination, a resignation in disgrace, a horrendous unnecessary war that divided the country, economic ups & downs, idiotic Congresses, former government shutdowns,
plus all the stuff that younger people will remember, from terrorist attacks to another unnecessary war, to the present crises - oh, also an impeachment for an idiotic reason) to be unduly concerned. I really think a lot of people are overreacting,
not that we don't have serious issues right now. What concerns me more than the government issues is really the way some people are reacting. People here talking about "revolution" and making idiotic claims about the President destroying the
Constitution are what concern me. I just hope these are smaller than then seem here.
