I have met some meteorologist. They think climate change scenario is a big joke. They say there’s not one thing humans can do about it. The second time it will change after they try to do something about it.

A report released this week by former U.N. International Panel on Climate Change officials, “The Truth Behind the Climate Pledges,” found that of the 184 nations taking the Paris climate pledge, 65% were “insufficient” and only 19% were “sufficient.”

those who said no don't actually know that much about the agreement. Or they do and they just want to disagree with whatever Trump does.

Waste of money that showed no improvement! If you’re interested in saving the environment, then work on China and India. They are the biggest polluters and could care less!

Terrible decision from the worst president. Kiss the world goodbye if we don’t lead on climate. Science denier

Investing in renewable energy would be beneficial for the sustainability, economy, and security of the United States.
Decreasing pollution in the water, land, and air will increase the health of citizens.
Even if you don’t believe in climate change, you cannot deny the fact that supporting renewable energy and fighting pollution is a good thing.

Yeah but no thanks to Donald J Trump who rolled back all of the Obama era requirements and then some, not to mention promoting fossil fuel over alternative energy....many businesses are doing it anyway despite this, doing it on their own. And who gives a shit how big a country is, we all need to do our part, I’m ok with US doing more. Doing nothing is NOT the answer.
I can remember when LA and other large cities where the smog was so thick you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face and YOU want to go backwards?

The United States is the second largest polluter of carbon omissions in the world today and the largest in history. To pull out of the Paris Agreements is selfish, foolish and ignorant on our part.

This is basically just a proxy question for trump at this point. I doubt people even realize how utterly meaningless the Paris agreement ultimately is to the environment, or if they even care. It’s just rooting for your team at this point

PROMISES MADE! PROMISES KEPT!
Thank You 🙏🏻 President Trump for getting us out of this climate change FRAUD where countries like China can “sign” it but not have to reduce emissions at all and just “promise” to do so in 2030. What a joke! 😂

Great call!
It was a Ponzi scheme meant to get the US to subsidize other nations.
We are doing great at reducing carbon emissions on our own.

Wow, what a sad comment section. To those fervent Trump supporters who actually believe he’s supporting environmental protection and conservation, at this point I just feel sorry for you that you’re so ignorant and out of touch. Blindly following this man is not something you’ll want to be remembered for. Yeesh, what a world we’re living in!

The rest of the world loved it because their biggest economic competition (us) would be paying for it! Of course they’d love it. They didn’t have to do a damn thing to curb emissions either. It was a ridiculous agreement that simply crippled the US and our workers. Not fair and wouldn’t reduce emissions. We’re doing a better job of that without the horrible globalists.

Good. The accord was non-binding, but even if the US followed it to a T, the effects would be negligible at best. All it served to do was stagger our economy. If you really care about the environment, then support GOOD solutions instead of whatever bullshit happens to be popular.

Excellent! We are doing FAR BETTER than anyone else in reducing emissions than any member there. The only purpose for us to participate is to redistribute American wealth to other countries. It is completely worthless to us.

Very bad call!
We will fall further behind in the development of alternative energy production, NRG of the future.🇺🇸
The earth’s climate will begin to change in ways we can’t predict.🤩
The present administration again reveals itself as a whore to the petrochemical industry.🤑
NRDC estimates dropping out of the agreement would cost the US $6 trillion in the upcoming decades and reduce the worldwide GDP by 25%. So much for the economic costs estimated by some based on a now debunked 2017 study.😢

It’s funny when people complain that he did this and say he didn’t show “leadership”. Ummm, every other country in the world signed on to this so doing what everyone else does is hardly leadership. Leading is going a different way than everyone else....
