Another young person from my town died recently because of addiction. Have you ever known someone (in any capacity) that had died from a drug overdose?
My daughter in laws brother died of a heroin overdose six months ago after a long term problem with drugs.
He lost his job, his truck, his home and his family.
It’s been a nightmare for that family.
Alcohol poisoning, passed out, and drowned in his own puke. As alcohol is America’s most frequently abused drug, I'm counting it.
Yes. He overdosed before he hit drinking age. His dad was a DEA agent.
Two people. And it’s a horribly wasted death.
That’s sad. Did you know them?
Yeah but didn’t know her well
Still it hits close to home. I’m sorry for that.
I don't know. Some of the people I know may have. I hope not.
A nephew of mine died of an OD. He was celebrating his 21st birthday. 😢
Yes, a cousin of mine overdosed and died at a very young ago. Not sure if it was intentional.
A coworker about 3 wks ago. He was only 22.
