Is there anyone on your 'side' (author, tv or radio personality, podcast, etc) that you think would possibly be able to persuade someone on the other side to change their outlook on some issues if they gave them a legitimate chance?

Limbaugh once convinced Brian to be conservative for one episode of Family Guy.

Listen to Limbaugh for two months and you will change your mind.

Bill O'Reilly was my first introduction to Conservatism right after 9/11. Before then I just kind of assumed I was a liberal, but really I just wasn't paying attention. I was flipping through the channels and came across this guy that was saying things I hadn't heard before, and wasn't taking crap from anyone. Everything he said made so much sense to me. I was hooked.
Then I discovered Rush. He perfectly stated what the liberals were up to, and could predict everything they would say and do, with nearly 100% accuracy.
Since then I've kind of evolved to a more libertarian position on some issues, but credit them with my political awakening.

He has a podcast. He was on Beck today.

I'll have to subscribe to his podcast. He got a raw deal at Fox. He regrets not fighting to stay like Hannity did.

He’s also on a tv station but my cable doesn’t carry it.

Newsmax tv. We just switched to Verizon Fios, and it has that channel, but I haven't checked it out yet.

He and Newt have the best sense of history, context, current pulse, and direction without the hoopla hysteria.

Ha, of course not. Most people already chose a team and they are going to root for their side no matter what.

The only thing she could possibly convince me of is that she's really a 12 year old boy.

I'm the topic of differences between men and women, I think Jordan Petersen always makes a persuasive case.

I don’t really have a “side.” I have lots of opinions, but I don’t align myself with Republicans or Democrats, liberals or conservatives. I take some positions from all of the above.

So you don't have anyone that you watch, listen to, or read that you agree with a majority of the time?

01/31/19 12:50 pm

I’m really not very political. I can’t honestly identify anybody that I listen to, watch or read regularly.
