Greater Issue in Trump-Kim Jong Un meeting. Denuclearization or Human rights
I think the human right issue needs to be addressed at some point, but the threat of an accidental nuclear war starting is paramount at this time.
Denuclearization. They haven't talked about human rights. I think it's ironic for Trump to tell Kim he doesn't have the right to have nukes while the US has the largest nuclear stockpile in the world. The US needs to denuclearize too.
They did talk about human rights. However it’s hard to denuclearize a country and throw all kind of demands. Baby steps. We’re not really wanting to go to war. I agree about our nukes. But that’s a world wide issue not just the US.
It's a worldwide issue, but the US has the biggest stock pile, so theirs should be a priority.
They have been. Buy why wouldn’t you want all nuclear nations to down size proportionately at the same time.
Well firstly, the US is the only country to have used their nukes in combat, which in my opinion disqualifies the US more than others from having nukes. Secondly, the US is the most powerful nation in the world and poses a unique threat around the world. And thirdly, even if you don't think the US is a unique threat, the perception of a unique threat has been the justification for nations like north Korea to develop nukes, so even from a pragmatic point of view, the US has a greater obligation to get rid of their nukes.
Nukes are the only threat to the us.
One step at a time.
It’s all about human rights
One at a time.. No Nukes..
Nukes more important, especially when they are pointing at us.
