Foreign aid accounte for <1% of the federal budget. The amount spent on foreign aid is often overestimatged by the general public. Poll asked: "What % of the federal budget is spent on foreign aid?" The average response was 28%.
I'm surprised more people didn't know how little of the $4 trillion annual budget this represents
Also overestimated....the amount of $ spent on welfare. Not saying I support either....but eliminating 100% of both doesn't balance the budget
It's all the hype and faux outrage used to distract from real issues.

28%?! Jesus Christ the Pope isnt even that generous.
