President Obama's spokesman said he's been the "most transparent president in history" and "gets little' if any, credit for it" from the media. Agree?

That's true. Barry Soetoro told you that he was going to fundamentally transform this disgusting catholic nation. Did the Democrats care? Of course not. Did the Republicans? Nope. They ran an old white man against him. The fix was in.

Is that supposed to be a joke? It struck me as humorous.

Transparent in that it's easy to see through his crap -- yes.

If by "most transparent" he means "least transparent," then he's absolutely correct.

I didn't vote for him, but I would have been a big fan of his, if he had kept that promise. Unfortunately, he didn't.

Disagree. Even his supporters in the liberal media complains about his lack of transparency.

"The Obama administration has used the Espionage Act to go after more leakers and whistleblowers than all previous presidential administrations combined, despite official assurances otherwise.”

The only transparency he has had that almost no other president has had is the internet, and that isn't something he deserves credit for.

That's funny! The timing for that comment is right, though. Didn't @USNavyVet point out in a poll that today is whiner's day?

From President Obama's repeated assurances that all hearings and ACA negotiations would be broadcast live on CSpan, to receiving a Sunshine Award for transparency in government -in secret-, the idea of being the most transparent President is something only Obama's spokesperson would say, and is ultimately a most ridiculous assertion.

In regard to winning that Sunshine Award, Steve Aftergood, the director of the Project on Government Secrecy at the Federation of American Scientists, said, per Politico
"...he understands the award to be “aspirational,” in recognition of Obama’s potential to do more on the transparency front.
“And in that sense, one could say it resembles the award at the Nobel Peace Prize,” Aftergood said. “It’s not because Obama brought peace to anyone but because people hoped he would be a force for good in the world, and maybe that’s the way to understand this award.”

Now THAT is really reaching...
