I just honeymooned in Yellowstone in October. I can't imagine anywhere more amazing.

Both are bucket list items. But I'd think Yellowstone would be more diverse and interesting, seems like to me The Grand Canyon is just kinda a hole in the earth... Maybe I can visit both before I croak and have an informed opinion.

Haven't been to either, but going to Yellowstone sounds like fun

I honestly can't choose between these two places. I would love to hike the Grand Canyon and the wildlife at Yellowstone is amazing.

Yellowstone. Already been to the Grand Canyon.

Grand Canyon most definitely. I grew up in NYC. I've literally been to dozens of different countries. Not many things REALLY impress me. The Grand Canyon is breath taking.

I've been to both, and frankly the Grand Canyon was a bit underwhelming. I prefer Zion or Bryce if looking at pretty rocks. Yellowstone, however, is probably my favorite national park. Beautiful forest, wildlife, geysers, and lakes seal the deal.

Haven't been to Yellowstone, so Grand Canyon it is. The neatest part for me was seeing the ancient cliff paintings. I also saw a squirrel get on some very startled lady's lap while she was feeding him nuts. Guess she wasn't fast enough lol!

Yellowstone seems like there'd be more to do but I could be wrong.

Yellowstone has a stupid law banning whitewater kayaking....
so the Grand Canyon of course.

Not a native, but a new transplant, so I picked the Grand Canyon, too.

Easy choice for me, based on better weather alone. The scenery, critters, and thermal features are all bonuses.

Yellowstone, but wouldn't want to be anywhere close if it has a massive eruption like it had around 600,000 years ago.
