Alaska wasn't a state until the 1950's so technically it's not Oklahoma

Alaska could've recognized it as a state before joining the union. They were a sovereign territory.

But alaska was later since it became a state in 1959. The question doesn't make any sense.

Im not sure why you think it didnt make sense. Your choices were two states. One, as many knew couldnt be the answer. Yet some did guess the wrong answer. Its very cool to see so many know their history.
