Are you planning on watching Rogue One: A Star Wars Story this weekend (or have you already)?
No. Saw Manchester by the Sea though. That was SAD
Waiting for Netflix.
Watching it this week
Braved the winter storm and went last night. 100% worth it. Kind of surprised I liked it

I have tickets to see it this afternoon!
It was an amazing movie, but Arrival was better.
I will wait until it comes out on DVD.
Just saw it, I highly recommend it even if Star Wars isn't your thing.
Better or worse than episode 7?
Just got back from the movie. It was good!
No. I'm planning on hibernating this weekend. It's close to midnight right now and the temperature is 6º. That's actually higher than the predicted *high* for Saturday, which is 5º. If I wanted to walk a mile in that, I could get to a theater, but... no. Just no. (Not that I would anyway.)
The last minute of the film is worth it for the price of admission.
My wife toke the grandkids, they were bummed out❗from what they told me, in the movie they killed off,
most of the main characters. Glad I missed it‼️
I've already seen the movie but that could be a big spoiler to whoever hasn't seen it yet.
No, any Star Wars fan would already know most of the Rebel spies got killed. Interestingly, I didn't see any Bothans in the previews.
OMG! My daughter and I saw it in 3D! What a great movie!!!
I have banned Star Wars until they release the original theatrical cuts of the original trilogy on a modern medium.
Well I mean I have them on DVD and could get them on Blu Ray but don't see the point, so I'm. It sure why you are boycotting, they are available.
No, a crappy quality laser sisc ripped version of them are a bonus discs of one of the dvd releases that aren't even animorphic wide screen. Other than that the only copies of the original Theatrical cuts of the original trilogy are on Laser Disc or vhs which are not good quality.
And you can't get them on bluray at all. What you have has been edited and altered in many different ways.
Yes, I'm so happy that YOU know what I have. Jeez, I would have never known if it weren't for the fact that... they are the theatrical versions. I'm sorry you can't seem to find them, but the DVDs DO exists, and they are sitting on a shelf at home.
I am sick of people thinking you have the Theatrical version because the box says theatrical on it. I bet your box says something along the lines of Widescreen Theatrical Edition, which is referring to the aspect ratio and not the edit of the film. Do some research next time you think you know what you are talking about.
And I'm sick of being told what I have by arrogant people. I know what I have. I love and breath Star Wars and have for the last 20 years. I have more figures than an adult should have. I have tattoos for Star Wars, I own VHS and DVD versions of the movies. I spend most of the winter under a Star Wars blanket. I have already watch Rouge One twice. I know what's available, I know what I have, and I honestly don't care if you believe at this point. If you want to run that hard head into the wall repeatedly go for it, but don't for a second thinking you know more about this than I do, specially since I am LOOKING at what you say doesn't exist and I don't have.
Yeah, that is why George Lucas has said that he wouldn't be releasing the original cuts again, when he still had the rights. That is why there have been several groups working on fan edits to try and get it as close to the original cut as possible. You apparently don't know what you have because as I have said before the only copy of the original theatrical cuts on dvd were bonus discs in only group ofDVD editions, that are no longer in print. The quality is low because they were ripped directly from the laser disc versions with nothing done to them. So the aspect ratio does not adjust to fit your screen. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/review/B001EN71DG/R3RXNKOQTUAX4Q/ref=cm_cr_dp_mb_rvw_1?ie=UTF8&cursor=1 do not start crap and act like someone else imposed upon you, especially when you don't know what you are talking about.
Does it not occur to you that i had the DVDs before they stopped printing them? What I do have and you still cant wrap your head around, is perfectly fine quality for a movies made 40-50 years ago. If you are arguing about that they arent remastered, no they aren't, but they ARE on modern medium: DVDs. They are almost 50 year old movies, and movies that old dont get remastered regularly, and are usually just remade/rebooted. Lucas decided instead to make special editions.
The comment you linked to even states that there are original theatrical versions is in one of the sets. That sir, is what I have. I don't think I can make it anymore clear short of taking pictures, that you indeed do not know what I have and should probably stop telling me what I have.
They lost the magic of the original 3... all so serious now (minus the droid's - especially the Rogue trailer). The original's were great because of the playfulness between the characters. Now they're just trying to be badasses which is going to make it all as flat as the marvel universe.
I'll watch it at some point, but this blizzard is keeping me home this weekend
The plot doesn't interest me, heard it sucked
Heard wrong "bruh".
I really don't want to but my husband really wants to.
Waiting for comments saying its anti trump...
Saw it. It's better than 7 but still blows
Not this weekend, but eventually. I haven't missed a Star Wars movie since 1977.
It was sooo good! 9.5 out of 10 and it was even better than episode 7. #IMHO
Eventually (when it gets to Prime or cable), but not this weekend (unless Amazon or HBO/SHO/MAX/STZ/etc) comes through with a holiday gift for loyal subscribers.
We're going to see it Sunday night can't wait :)
I saw it last night with my kids, 6&10 year old boys, we all really liked it. Very interesting and well done. Hope you enjoy it.
Saw it. SOOO much better than that Force Awakens crap!
Yea I'm hyped to see it!
I'm one with the Force and the Force is with me. I'm one with the Force and the Force is with me. I'm one with the Force and the Force is with me. I'm one with the Force and the Force is with me.
He is probably upset because most of the main cast are nonwhite. Who cares, really! I am a Protestant white male, quite conservative too, and he is missing out! ;)
How? Half the cast is minority's
I wanna see it, but I don't know about this weekend...maybe though...
No :(. This one caught me by surprise...I had no idea a new Star Wars movie was due out this month! Guess I live under a rock :p. I shall clear my schedule to view this gem ASAP!
No. Star Wars is dead.
I saw it at the midnight premiere. It was a decent movie on its own, but it's not good when you compare it to the Star Wars movies
Maybe..maybe not. Undecided.
Just watched it!! Best film since empire strikes back!!
I don't understand the appeal of Star Wars.
Have you watched them?
I tried watching the original but after an hour, I turned it off.
I kept waiting for it to get good and it never did.
Next week hopefully
Likely wait until sometime between Christmas and New Years.
Watch it, so goood
Not this weekend, but soon.
I doubt I'll watch it in the next few months
Midnight premiere. Totally worth it
Saw it last night. It was epic.
Yes, seeing it with my friend sometime
The bad guys is the good guy's father and they've gotta blow up the Death Star. Sounds kinda familiar.
Nope, good guy's father is the ultimate good guy, Death Star blows stuff up and never gets blown up. Not familiar.
Oh, you member the old Star Wars?
Hey, I 'member!
