KAHR Arms (a gun maker employing over 100 people) has announced they are leaving New York due to new restrictive gun laws. Was this a good move, standing up for principle, or a futile gesture nobody cares about?

You and your cop friends are not above the law. In no way shape or form should you have the right to arbitaraily kill a house pet whereas private citizens cannot.

Good move, but what needs to happen is to have firearms and munition companies refuse to sell to gov agencies on the principal that they (the gov) exempt themselves from the very laws they impose on the people.
