All you saying kids with cancer and bad things happening in the world, God didn't do that to us, Adam and Eve chose to disobey God in the Garden of Eden, bringing sin into the world, along with death. That's why God sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so that whoever believes in what He did can go to Heaven and get that perfect relationship with God again, escape this broken world, and live forever in glory. The alternative is hell, which is described as: "wailing and gnashing of teeth." The only way to heaven, though is through Jesus Christ. He says in the Bible that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Light and no one comes to the Father but through Him. That's not bigotry or anything like that, it's just the way it is

I guess the plain fact that existence itself exists is the best evidence. I mean something can't come from nothing. And don't even start on the "the universe was around forever" argument. Everything has to have a beginning.

The burden of proof is on the person claiming there is s God, and they have no evidence.

Are you a Catholic, Ginger?

Also, I think our very existence is the best evidence for God.

In order for us to exist, so many little things had to happen exactly the right way in order for the world to be livable and for life to form. It is extremely EXTREMELY unlikely that this would happen randomly. In terms of our existence, intelligent design is more likely than random occurrence.

Also, a lot of the people who claim that we were formed by random natural occurrences also tend to believe that there is life on other planets. If you believe that we formed randomly, then it is almost statistically impossible that the exact conditions were met somewhere in the universe for life to exist in a similar stage to anything on Earth besides germs.

I'm a Theist with no religion because I disagree with all religions I have looked into it. The problem I come to is "Satan". Satan is a contradiction on the idea of God being a all powerful. So to me God is pure good and pure evil. He is the knower of all because he created all and is all.

Carcano Luke 10 19

Satan exists because God wants him to. Just like Mussolini and Hitler reco nixed the importance of warfare and struggle in building stronger citizens, God recognizes the importance of struggle and evil in the world in order to build better men.

But he does not need Satan. God is the creator of Good and Evil. He can whip out millions of people or save millions. Satan is of pure evil, he is anarchy. He rebelled from God, when you rebel you die or at least locked up. But Satan romes free. It seems completely unnecessary to me for Satan to exist at all when God is everything and everywhere.

Carcano Luke 10 19

Satan is confined to Earth and Hell. He cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven, which is a severe punishment. God uses the Devil because a benevolent God wouldn't want to create evil himself.

Carcano Luke 10 19

For example, you want your children to struggle and learn lessons in life, but that doesn't mean you're going to lock them in the basement for a few days because they didn't eat their broccoli.

Why would God not create evil himself. Satan, or Lucifer was an Angel, he rebelled from God. Obviously that emotion was there, the emotion of anarchy and rebellion. So clearly God had already created anarchy, rebellion and evil. Because these things existed sense the beginning of time.

Can I offer my perspective here? I believe in God but not Satan. I think a lot of religion has it wrong yet I still do believe in a creator. For me, Satan doesn't exist as the root of evil. I don't really believe in evil, rather a lack of good if that makes sense. A metaphor I've heard is when you walk into a dark room you can turn on the light. It's either light or dark. There's a source for the light however there is no source of the darkness, rather it's simply an absence of light. For me, there is no evil - only a lack of good.

You just listed your own gods as evidence against God.

Well, I believe it all depends on the person. Their upbringing, the people they meet, and how their life turns out. For example, I'm a Christian, I believe in God whole hearted. My reason is there have been times of my life I should've died, or at least been badly injured. However, today I'm healthy, and alive. That's my reason, but I believe everyone isn't like me, and I think this is a question that should remain a question. Afterall, as human beings we strive more because, we wanna know our fates. If we knew what would be our reason to live?

Why Christianity if you don't mind?

Well as a little girl it was because my dad believed in it. When my mom pasted I shoved that faith away. It was even worse when my dad went away to find himself. The reason I believe is because, when he was gone I lived with my uncle. He was a bastard he'd beat his wife come home drunk, and since I wasn't his he'd take is anger out on me. There were times I wished I died, there were times I thought I'd bite the dust. However, every time something spontaneous would come and stop it. It was in those instances my faith returned. It was even more so when my father returned he held me, and told me he'd prayed everyday for my safety. After I left that hellhole, my faith was restored, and i continue to believe.

So it's just a parent religion then? No real reason to believe Jesus is the son of God and the Bible is how God, Jesus and the Apostles want Christians to live their life.

It's more like it's passed on from him to me. Also yes the bible is very clear on how a person should live. However, we can both agree this isn't the same time period as the bible. I know in my heart God understands we cannot live perfectly. As such we are free to live our lives as close as we can to the bible.

My belief is when you die, you pass over to another dimension. You can still see and interact with people but people can't see you. Usually. There's also a place you can enter freely and exit freely. Kinda like soul reapers from Bleach. That's my belief. The reason is we don't or never will have the technology to discover it. "oh because it never existed in the first place" you can't explain out of body experiences or how that car almost killed you but didn't when that voice in your head told you stop don't cross and you were forced to listen to it. If it truly 100% didn't exist, I'd be dead. You'd be dead. Many of you who had similar experiences will attest. Many will argue. there's no 100% disproof or proof. It's unexplainable and you can't argue it.

Basically that there isn't a single bit of evidence that a god exists. If I ever see any evidence I'll be glad to consider it.

That's an easy one. Axl already said it below. It's nothing more than an unsupported hypothesis.

You can't prove nor disprove the existence of God, it's up to you to find your beliefs.
