Does the strength of the nuclear family strengthen a society, or is it simply an aspect of our society?
; ) please
A nuclear family not only strengthens a society but it adds a moral fiber that we are slowly loosing as our divorce rate of 50% makes a negative impact.
Strengthens. However what constitutes a nuclear family
Nope. Any intro cultural anthropology class will demonstrate that societies all over the world have widely varying ideas of what constitutes a family. And in fact, the system we use is in the minority.
Strengths our society. Just look at the statistics.
The nuclear family certainly strengths our society, as you can see that as the nuclear family has fallen apart so have many aspects of our society.
Traditional families have worked well for our societies for thousands of years.
That doesn't mean that they are inherently superior.
It kinda does, it means it's the system that has worked for thousands of years.
Worked? People burning down cities every other day was a good thing?
What does that have to do with anything?
People got around without cars and airplanes too.
