Would you rather put your kid in public school or homeschool? (Let's say that time and money isn't a problem.)
My sons mother and I both do not have to time to homeschool him. With both of us working we will need to rely on the local public schools.
Homeschooling risks poor social development. It's not the case for everyone, but I'd prefer my kids learn to deal with the world.
Although they're technically public I have both my kids in charter school
Homeschool, absolutely. My wife and I are planning to homeschool our children.
Parental education isn't the factor people think it to be; I was homeschooled and my mother had only a HS education, my father a college drop out. I have 8 siblings, all homeschooled, and we have all been far above national averages on any testing.
Public, if I had a child now. The school district I went to, and the one my daughter went to (although she went to a combination of public and private schools), were excellent. The school district where I live now is quite good. I am fairly intelligent, but I am not trained to be a teacher.
Neither. The public schools where I live are a disaster, and I don't feel qualified enough across the curriculum to homeschool. Private school is the only alternative here. Fortunately, there are many good ones.
Public school. The social element is as crucial as the academic education IMHO. Plus there are some good schools around here.
Public school. Where I live the public schools are excellent.
