If Korea should ever reunite, do you think it will rather be under communist rule like Vietnam, or capitalist rule like Germany?
I'll say it how they say it in vietnamese: Dit me cong san (f*ck communism). It's also the name of this song: youtu.be/xnWxFIH4_dE
The South has our support and we will never lose because we seem to always get our way in foreign affairs.
Are you sure about that?
Capitalist considering neither nation is communist, North Korea operates under Juche socialism though
Capitalist. Its the only way they'd benefit anything worthwhile to the world other than just cheap labor.
North Korea isn't communist, they aren't even Marxist-Leninist, they follow an idea called Juche that in practice mixes autarky and totalitarianism.
These are the kinds of comments that I like. Can't really be contested. Well-informed and informative. Thanks!
That's like asking if there will be another war (technically continuation of the existing because they never ended the first) and that North Korea will win. That's the only way they would be communist in my opinion.
Even Vietnam is now becoming quite capitalist.
Maybe capitalist. People like to eat.
It will be capitalist. Even North Korea itself is gradually stepping away from Communism by removing a prohibition against sharecropping.
Citizens that have been free will never accept a return.
Capitalist. South Korea has more firepower and a more appealing lifestyle. I mean, all you'd need to be more appealing is to have food at this point, but SK far surpasses that and actually lives in luxury. I can't see Juche taking over the peninsula
If you think North Korea or China are truly communist, you are delusional. They are the most neocolonial people on this planet.
The only country he called communist was Vietnam...
I was referring to the comments, not the question.
South Korea wouldn't become communist, lol.
South Korea has a more powerful military plus American backing so there's no way North Korea could ever win in a war.
I imagine it will eventually be as is happening in Cuba.
Capitali$m for life! $outh Korea is be$t Korea! American Firepower > Chinese Firepower!
If North Korea decides to invade the South then they're fucked. China would basically say "fuck that shit" because they wouldn't want to get into conflict with the United States. I can't see the South doing anything to provoke a war. The North will
More than likely collapse but who will oversee their recovery efforts? China or the United States?
A quick comparison showed the South is militarily stronger which actually surprised me. They'd probably win an open war.
Well, I doubt any conflict there would be strictly north vs south.
