It's "saving," and we need to end it. It's a nuisance.

It's SAVING. It's one of my pet peeves, right behind "supposably". Ugh....

What, pacifically, don't you like about "supposably"? Hahaha.

I think both work tbh. Every day you're saving daylight which adds up to a lot of savings over the season.

All I can say is I like savings daylight a lot better than not savings it...

And I rest my case for leaving off the "s".

It's Saving. It's so often misspelled Savings, though, that some dictionaries list that too, but never as first or preferred use of the phrase.

Siri does what, list both, or use "Savings"?

So does Tony, too, apparently. Us "Savings," that is. {sigh}

Yeah, I asked her last year when it ended and she came back with "Daylight Savings Time ends..." And then gave the wrong date lol

I have always heard it with the "s". But, maybe that is just how us hick people in Illinoiz pronounce it. :-)

It sounds funny without the s. Savings that is. Illinois with the s is just silly. ;-)

11/02/14 7:51 am

I've always said savings but I'm sure both ways are fine.

Only evangelicals think of it as daylight "saving" time.

Oh now you've got me second guessing myself. Never realized people said it differently. I think I say it without the s.

Never thought about it! She said it with the "s" then rescinded. I don't know!!
