I don't know how it used to be but I see a wide variety of poll questions. Something for everyone in my opinion. Narrowing down the list of people you follow may eliminate the problem if it's certain types of polls you don't like to see.

Seems like you get one subject, and there's poll after poll on it until it is beaten to death. I miss the "makes you think" polls. I wish someone would do trivia. Those Holocaust ones were good.

I'm new but I read old polls for fun and insight. It's different.

It appears that IBakes isn't stirring up shit so I say things are better.

There seem to be far fewer actual discussions. Many good users are no longer active and I miss their contributions.

Life on SoH goes through cycles. It all works out. Hang in there ;-)

It's different, but six months of anything is going to change it up a bit. People seem more distant.

Lots of new younger users

Lots of new users it seems, and efforts by some to make them feel welcome. We haven't had much major drama that I've been aware of. That's a good thing.

Hard to say really. I have mixed feeling about whether it's changed. I know I've altered my own experience on purpose and so it sure has a different feel for me.

Worse polls. Most user polls now seem to be pushing an agenda or have one obvious answer that you are supposed to pick. They were always around but it's getting a lot worse recently.

Seems different to me the past 2-3 months. Like it's lost the community feel.

More trolls and ignorant people
