You hire someone to work for you. They are not under contract. After a few months they quit because they don't like your personal religious views. Their sudden absence results in lost business. Should you be able to sue them for your loss of income?
Religion was mentioned because this poll is based on all the other polls from last night about whether an employer should be able to fire an employee for any reason they want, including religious differences.
Well, they can sue. But should they win? No. As you know, I believe that employers are held to higher standards, responsibilities, and, unfortunately, more vulnerability. If you don't like it, don't go into business.
But this person is discriminating against you for your personal beliefs.
