Yesterday I canceled Dish. And don't plan on getting new tv service until our house sells and we move (on market for 8 fucking months). Anyone else living without live tv service? And yes I am very sad about it
I moved right before Christmas. I had dish and hated it. I went 8 weeks with no tv until after we moved. My kids hung out more with their friends and, believe it or not, spent more time at our local library!!
All you need is the internet
I disconnected Dish 3 yrs ago due to kids arguing, homework & bedtime routines. Love not having tv. When I've asked the kids about turning it back on, they said "No, we don't need it."
I plan on setting up something new when eventually sell our house and move.
We don't get any channels. We only watch movies we've bought or borrowed.
Not a big movie fan
I have primarily survived (for years) on Netflix and Amazon Prime. 8 months is easy with all that is available.
I've considered getting rid of it and relying on Netflix, but then I wouldn't be able to watch sports.
I know, I use to watch PTI first thing everyday when I got home. We have netflix and Hulu plus that my wife has used for a whole, but that takes more effort to get to and can't just flip around from show to showc
Did I mention I am sad
