Another snow day for me tomorrow. I read somewhere that the legislature is considering "forgiving" all the snow days and not making schools make them up. Is this a good plan?
Question: Would doing this make the kids softer?
Great for teachers not so much for the kids.
Every time we have a snow day this same rumor is at our school. In the 26 years I have been teaching we have had to make up every single day.
In MO we are supposed to make up 1-1 for the first 7 days and then 1-2 for the rest of the days
I don't know for sure that they are considering it or not. it could have been wishful thinking by a teacher.
