My poll RE: tape and kitties' paws is gone. I'm not a $25 member, but it hadn't received 100 comments by a long shot. What happened as it wasn't an affront to anyone? Please explain.
Actually, it did receive over 100 votes. 104, in fact. Someone must have shared the poll, resulting in an influx of voters.
Really "genius"? It was a good and funny question, but hardly genius.
in *really* extreme cases. I'm not sure if I remember him closing *any* polls because of content; maybe a couple, & I'm sure most users would have been OK with that. Certainly not for something like putting tape on a cat's paws. EVER.
I say genius...and stick by that 62%!
I misinterpreted the question. I thought 'User' meant user complaint, not user error. I over reacted to Diogenes' comment. I have been addicted to SOH for 1.5 years and I enjoy the community. I was not addressing SOH as a whole. I apologize.
It had reached 100 *votes.* That's the criterion - votes, not comments.
Not sure. I thought it was genius!
I saw it just a few minutes ago - what's the issue?
meherring - I can't tell if you're kidding, but the poll disappeared for the same reason that all polls close - it had reached the maximum votes (which is 100 for a non-subscribed user). It wasn't a judgement call, & Tony doesn't do that except
We it reappear if I do?
I suspected it was Tony. Wow, not a friendly place.
It was truly inspirational, can we agree with that?
No issue. It hit the 100-vote cap. (It might have been shared; can't tell now.)
If the cats became bombs or some incendiary device once tape was added, I could understand, but it couldn't have been further from that possibility.
Dang! Well I had a good poll I suppose. Probably because I was inspired by RJ. LOL
I think Tony should make an exception.
That's cool, meherring.
S Tony's female and lives in Abalama!
They can make a heck of a mess if they scramble around on a table covered with sewing projects and supplies, trying to get it off...
I shared that poll and it closed at 108 votes.
Nope, sorry. You'd have to re-ask the question.
No. See my comment above.
Like live cats strapped to bombs to improve accuracy. Done by Navy in WWll but tests failed of course. They thought since cats hate water it would rather land on a dry ship. Somehow it would move the 1,000 lb bomb.
Ha... Or you could get the subscription. ;)
That's what they're there for, after all. The vote limit has always been 100.
So if I pay $25 bucks it will reappear?
It's not like I hit polls out of the park, ever!
