There is no such thing as a pure motive.

I think so- at a particular instant, as you engage in an act motivated by overwhelming emotion, I'd say yes.
But I also think that, over time, as a person remembers the things they've done and why, their perception of their motives may change.
It depends on who you're asking, and what the question is.

Possibly?? But, even the best of people with the best of intentions do things with self-serving motivations. That is not necessarily a bad thing though.
There can be if it's a reflexive action. The longer one thinks about it, the more complicated it gets. Motives get disengenuated with time. ( I might have made up that word usage)
