Should texting while driving be against the law?
Dopey, you're dangerous.
No you can't
No one can safely text and drive.
Damn straight, but only to those who need to be endangered.
What does this have to do with whether Sam, Jason, and James can safely text while driving?
Yes, hard to enforce though when handheld GPS and finagling with MP3 devices are still legal.
No. It should not be. Distracted driving is already against the law, so if the texting distracts you, you are already breaking the law.
Some people can safely text while driving, and they should not be punished for the incompetence of others.
It already is in many states. It should be left to the states and not the fed.
When I tell you to offer evidence, restating your thesis does not fulfill that requirement. If no one can safely text and drive, there has to be a reason.
Give this reason, or admit that you're projecting your own inability to text and drive into men you've never met, without a gorram clue what you're talking about.
Sure is, I use my phone to play music
Yes it should. Texting causes so many deaths,
I found it interesting how quickly and quietly it became illegal here in Florida.
I've already told you the reason. Because no one can safely text and drive.
Yes. I do, as well.
Sure I can. Sam, Jason, and James.
Provide evidence for your blanket statement, because I can think of three people right now who can.
There you go again. The unfounded assertion against all evidence and reason.
You have no way to actually discredit my anecdotal evidence, and my anecdotal evidence kills your blanket statement. The truth is, some people can safely text and drive.
It is here. Certainly doesn't stop people though...
If you don't want to accept that, PROVE ME WRONG.
And don't just restate your thesis again. "No one can safely text and drive" is not a reason. It's not evidence. That is what you have to bring evidence to prove.
Driving safely while texting is not possible!
