Have you ever hitchhiked before?
What do you think I am? A rangers fan?
Then the bottle rocket wars would ensue. We also deconstructed fireworks, collected the powder, and made bigger explosive devices. Those were fun times.
In the 1960s & 1970s. I can't imagine doing it today.
I'm seriously impressed you have all you fingers. Sounds like fun times. I never dismantled fireworks, but I did my share of similar shenanigans.
No, I haven't... I hope I never have to.
I used to hitchhike at the age of 7-8 all the time. My brother and I would walk a country road picking-up bottles for their redemption value, hitchhike to the store to exchange them, then hitchhike to the next town where the fireworks stand was.
He was 8-9 at the time and I was 7-8 and we did this countless times during the summer months. What else were we to play with? Rocks? Oh yeah. We did play with rocks.
Yes, but not in a country travel way, just across town. And I was wearing a school shirt too, and my destination was the school so...
Inspired by Shazam?
I did through the 80s, but haven't recently. Not bc I'm afraid to, I just haven't needed to. Have thought about doing it cross country sometime - bucket list.
Once while in high school while with 2 other girls, I was peer pressured into it.
Yep, a few years ago.
Many many times.
Sort of. I saw someone hitchhiking the other day and thought about asking about it. Shazam just reminded me to ask :)
I have probably hitchhiked somewhere close to 40,000 miles in my lifetime. It was a common thing to do back in the 70's and 80's. I travelled the country multiple times, plus commuted back and forth from Oregon to California (college).
From the Isle of Skye to Durham.
in Austria, I did. :)
I'm not a murderer but I still can't get a ride
