The bill proposed by the senate to end the shutdown and raise the debt limit has passed. Surprised?
So basically, the votes were there all along? Just like everyone knew ... except tea bag wearing loons
I'm not surprised at all, but I'm disappointed that Congress waited so long. We shouldn't be avoiding things like debt default just by the skin on our noses.
No, I think the Republican Party would have ceased to exist if they didn't pass this... They at least would have guaranteed a complete loss in 2016.
No. I'm glad the GOP leadership aren't completely insane.
"Skin on our noses." I like that hahaha.
I'm sorry that the economy didn't tank. You must be so upset.
You keep putting the yes and the no in the wrong order.
We need more people on both sides willing to work together. But I think the country as a whole needs to realize this WILL happen unless one party controls both houses of congress and the presidency. United we stand, divided we fall. And right now, we have gridlock and massive political division (by which I mean WAY too wide)
Surprised? No. Saddened, yes.
You guys just love to drag that one out don't you?
But, for you, it would've been worth the economy tanking if poor people wouldn't have been able to get affordable healthcare, yeah?
