I asked a question 3 times yesterday with three different sets of answers. All received low poll ratings, the answers ended up "white guy, worker, conservative" respectively. For those of you that voted please comment why you answered what you did.

Sure. :)
Sorry to hear people didn't like them. I thought they were interesting from a psychological standpoint.

First and second, because they're the majority in the respective demographic they fall under.
I chose liberal on the last, because liberals outnumber conservatives in my area.

I did not vote, but downgraded the questions. I found them to be divisive and supporting stereotype. Not knowing you, I don't know what you were trying to validate, so I left it alone. Maybe they could have been less divisive worded differently?

That's the /one/ thing I wish Tony would change about this app - having the ability to abstain & then comment. See above - I did not vote because I felt neither answer was appropriate and I see hundreds of examples why both answers were (cont)

generically and specifically wrong/bad answers. Not being able to abstain & comment, my only recourse for feedback at that point is to "thumbs-down" the question.

I put go away only because I wasn't on yesterday.

I thought I made them from an unbiased viewpoint.

I'm glad you posted this follow-up poll, and I'm happy to address the others specifically here if you want.

Perhaps the wording was a bit off, but none were worth a down-rating, in my opinion.

Well If one wasn't then none were. They were all exact same question. Majority of people downvoted prolly cause of the answer choice.

Could be. I wish more people explained why they down-rate questions which don't have obvious reasons to do so.
