Biden extorted Ukraine to fire a prosecutor to end an investigation into his son’s company. Trump wants to undo the damage and corruption and have them resume the investigation along with investigating meddling in the 2016 election.

In a world where every American citizens above the age of 25 was a rational adult the daily news would look like a fictitious horror flick.
Evil has long known that the U.S. and the freedoms that it provides worldwide could never be destroyed solely by external forces. It has to be done from within.
A mere 50 years ago, any aspiring politician espousing the failed ideologies of Socialism and Communism would be duly laughed out of the race. Today, Evil has nearly won the “long con”.
It’s expected for children to abandon logic for good intentions that result in the deaths of millions, but in this very app there are seniors (60+) that blindly follow those very same ideologies.

There were several investigations. Some of them had closed, but there were two that were still open.

The investigation had been over for a year before Biden demanded the firing of the prosecutor.

Biden threatened to withhold $1.5B in aid if he wasn’t fired in 6 hours.
Who else did that?
No one.

“The Constitution lays out impeachment for when a president has actually committed a high crime and misdemeanors, not because Democrats lost when they were not supposed to or they do not like who the people elected.
The actions they have taken to attempt to remove this president are possibly criminal and seditious.

No one testified that Trump did that. As a matter of fact the only witness who spoke to Trump said clearly that Trump wanted nothing from Ukraine. It was all hearsay and conjecture.

The Democrats are the ones who tried to investigate Trump. This farce along with Russian collusion and everything else they tried is a continuation of the efforts to undermine and ultimately remove Trump and undo the 2016 election. That is what is unprecedented here and likely criminal and seditious.

There is no proof Trump did any such thing

Trump has not abused power.
That was Obama.
You have nothing remotely resembling evidence. You have only delusions.

“Impeachment doesn't undo the 2016 election”
It is another attempt to delegitimize the election results.
The Democrats have been doing this since Trump won.

“they understood” based on supposition and hearsay.
The standards for impeachment should be higher. Democrats are desperate because their usual tactics and corruption does not work on Trump

Mostly true, yes. There are questions about Biden and Trump. Their intentions are key.

Let's correct that: Biden, along with nearly everyone else in the international community, called for Ukraine's notoriously corrupt prosecutor to resign. He did resign and the investigation into Hunter Biden's employer continued for another ten months. Trump then extorted Ukraine to announce an investigation into Biden, attempting to use his diplomatic power to smear his chief political opponent.

All of the people who testified say they understood their orders to be to condition a White House meeting and aid on President Zelensky's willingness to announce an investigation into the Biden family, including George Sondland. Yes, it's correct that after the whistleblower came out and Trump realized this could be a political problem, George Sondland heard President Trump say he wanted nothing. However, before that the president was telling George Sondland that his priority was getting those investigations announced, something Sondland himself said amounted to a quid pro quo.

Impeachment doesn't undo the 2016 election. After all, the work of the past three years will not be undone and Mike Pence can continue it. The Constitution lays out impeachment precisely for times like this when people who have been elected have committed high crimes and misdemeanors. There's nothing seditious about upholding the rule of law, but it is criminal to abuse the powers of the highest office in the land for political expediency.

It’s not unusual for countries to attach anti-corruption measures to aid packages to ensure that aid is spent prudently. What is unprecedented is what everyone so far has testified about what Trump has done. It is not appropriate for the president to attach conditions to aid that are not about any general anti-corruption measure, but actually just an attempt to investigate his political opponent.
