Everyone’s heard of hands-free soap dispensers and hands-free paper towels but wouldn’t a hands-free door make more sense?
Totally. There is a local Wal-Mart that doesn't even have doors on its restrooms, you just kind of zigzag behind a wall.
that’s honestly a really good point
I’ve used some where you just wave your hand over a panel to open them. They were really nice.
That's how ours is too. When there is a door, I use the paper towels to open it because that is more sanitary.
Just remove the doors...
I just use a paper towel to open the door and throw it out in the trash can as I leave
Some have a contraption where you can pull open the door with your foot. I can never get enough leverage to do that though
It would, and we have those, we just don’t use them on public restrooms very often, probably because the doors usually open inwards. I've seen some though, as part of making them accessible. The best ones don’t have a door at all, just a short maze, as you often find in airport terminals or Costcos.
They already have them.

Just remove hands
I like my analog door!
So much so
Most bathroom doors push open from the inside.
Nobody will stop you from using your foot.
